Independence Day Party, Hospitality Resumes & a Solemn Pontifical Mass
A blessed summer to you all! Here are the upcoming events and announcements for our community.
Independence Day Party
After a one-year hiatus, the annual Fourth-of-July celebration returns at the Kircher family’s ranch — and all are warmly invited! The Kirchers will provide Mark’s famous chicken, a large pot of gumbo, and Von Ruden wieners, along with lemonade and water for the children. Please bring a dish to pass, any adult beverages you would like, and lawn furniture.
A Rosary will be prayed at 5:00 p.m. for the repose of Valerie’s soul and others in our community who have passed in recent years. Dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m., followed by a friendly game of volleyball. Please also bring your well-wishes for Mark and Debra Kircher, who were married this past February — no gifts or cards, just your presence!
Please RSVP by Friday, June 26 to mkirgbp@yahoo.com or dmkochrn@outlook.com, letting the Kirchers know how many adults and children will be attending.
Hospitality After Mass Resumes
Hospitality after the 9:00 a.m. Mass at the Shrine resumes this Sunday, June 28. Anyone who would like to help in the future with food preparation, set-up, or clean-up is warmly invited to contact us, and we will connect you with the organizers of this important community gathering.
Solemn Pontifical Mass for Our Lady of the Snow
Coming up in August, a Solemn Pontifical Mass for Our Lady of the Snow will be offered by His Eminence Raymond Cardinal Burke. All are welcome to attend this beautiful and solemn celebration of the traditional liturgy.
A blessed summer to you all.
